Indrani Mukerjea gets discharged; taken back to Byculla jail

MUMBAI: Indrani Mukerjea has been discharged from JJ Hospital and is now being taken back to Byculla jail.
Doctors have given a green signal stating, ‘She is fit to be taken to jail.’ (Also Read: Indrani Mukerjea responds positively to the medical treatment)
In jail, she will be kept in isolation, reason being obvious, as there were many security lapses in terms of her, earlier.
Earlier, along with Indrani, the barrack was shared by around 40 inmates. But now, the uncertainty existing around what exactly happened with Indrani on the night of 2nd October, the jail authorities cannot take any further risk, Indrani being, the prime accused in the high-profile Sheena Bora murder case.
Indrani was rushed to JJ hospital when she was found unconscious, as a result of overdose of anti-depressants. (Also Read: Indrani Mukerjea regains full consciousness, JJ Hospital to NewsX)
According to sources, Bagpada police is now waiting for court’s order to quiz Indrani.
