New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday sacked Food Minister Asim Ahmed Khan on charges of demanding a bribe from a builder.
Announcing the sacking at a press conference where he played a recorded tape of a conversation purportedly between Khan and the builder, Kejriwal said the case was being referred to the CBI.
"We won't tolerate any corruption, even if it is our minister or legislator," the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader said.
"Till the CBI completes the investigation, he (Khan) will not be a minister," he said.
The food portfolio will go to AAP legislator Imran Hussain, he said.

Having watched comments from various political parties on Arvin's Kejriwals action in severing the rot in his cabinet is one only act boldly taken by a Chief Minister in the Independent India. All the parties are giving statics and numbers on the tainted ministers in Kejriwals cabinet because all is open like a book for everyone to know. Whereas, all other big or small parties shield, brush under the carpet their members misdeed, corruption name any act condemnable is safeguarded from public gaze and scrutiny. If per chance comes in the open the entire party acts to deny or deflect probity citing foreign hand or oppositions doing. Let the goods deeds, to make India corruption free and a country to live peacefully, be appreciated. The courage required to do this act of cutting away the rot should be lauded by one all and the political spectrum.

We all pray that CONGRESS & NDa follows his foot steps. Both these parties have NO MORASLS,STANDARDS or VALUES.
