In time of drought, Maharashtra CM's relief fund used to send dance troupe to Bangkok

An RTI reply has revealed that Rs 8 lakhs have been sanctioned by the Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis to fund a 15 strong government employees dance troupe to enable them to attend a competition held at Bangkok, Thailand. Rs 8 Lakhs were sanctioned by the CM from the CM Relief Fund to Sachivalaya Gymkhana for the dance competition. The profound and morose farm crisis in Maharashtra and the plague of drought that has led to the wretched state of farmers has only worsened in the past few months.
