Madhya Pradesh: A Madhya Pradesh Minister, Kusum Mehdele, who was involved in an ugly incident yesterday of kicking a 10-year-old boy who begged her for a rupee, now faces expulsion from the Congress.

Congress ministers protested against this act by burning the effigy of the minister and have also demanded that she be sacked.

AAP too has demanded the minister be expelled and have moved the NHRC.

Hitesh Bajpayee, BJP state party media head did not comment on the incident and said that a comment can be made only after seeing the video.

Kusum Mehdele, MP Animal Husbandry minister had made headlines earlier too when she said that lions and cats should be domesticated in order to conserve them.

Commenting, on the increasing number of farmer suicides, she had sparked a controversy by saying that if on the death of their children farmers don’t commit suicide, then why do they do so when their crops fail.
