US Army on Martyrs’ Day poster

NEW DELHI: The Chandigarh Municipal Corporation committing a serious faux pas has put up the photographs of the United States (US) Army personnel instead of Indian Army soldiers in its hoardings commemorating Martyrs’ Day.

It seems that the photographs have been picked up from the internet where the soldiers are clearly seen wearing the US flag on their uniforms. However, the pictures, certainly misrepresented have been flipped to hide ‘American’ symbols.

The hoardings were put up across Chandigarh to update the general public about the memorial event being held on March 23 across the city on the death anniversary of freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev.

"Khana purti" of govt. on the commemoration event on 23rd March.

This shows that the chandigarh government are not Senciour about the death anniversary of freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. The are doing only "Khana purti". They are not paying tribute to the freedom fighters, the only do "Khana purti".
