Mumbai: Thousands of individuals are more likely to be part of protest march on Tuesday against the ban on beef in Maharashtra.
The march will begin from Deonar Abattoir and culminate at Azad Maidan, stated Sarvashramik Sangh secretary Vijay Dalvi, one of many organisers of the march.
“The livelihood of over one million individuals instantly or not directly engaged in the beef commerce and allied business has been adversely affected by the ban on beef in the state,” he stated.
“This has hiked the costs of different non-vegetarian gadgets like mutton, hen and fish which, in flip, will result in spiraling in the menu costs in eating places and eateries,” stated Dalvi.
Besides the beef business representatives, round one hundred fifty college students of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, NGOs, leaders of the Congress, the Nationalist Congress Party, the Samajwadi Party and others are anticipated to hitch the march.
