Howrah Chennai Superfast Mail

Kolkata:  With the improvement in weather condition in flood-hit Chennai, the south Eastern Railway has decided to resume normal train services towards Chennai Central and Chennai Egmore from Sunday.

As a result, the 12839 Howrah-Chennai Mail and 12841 Howrah-Chennai Coromandal Express would leave Howrah at their scheduled departure time.

However, due to want of rakes because of cancellation of down trains, the A22642 Shalimar-Thiruvananthapuram Express will remain cancelled on Sunday, according to a South Eastern Railway release on Saturday.
