Truck with Samsung Electronics goods looted

NEW DELHI: The national capital witnessed a shocking episode of robbery on Tuesday at 1 AM where a gang escaped with goods worth approximately Rs. 25 crore along with a truck from the Kalindi Kunj area.

According to the reports, the truck loaded with Samsung’s Electronic goods was stopped by the robbers who then broke open the container and fled away with it. The truck container was on its way to Noida, Uttar Pradesh from the Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi.

The robbers who also took away the truck had beaten up the driver and cleaner of the vehicle, leaving them seriously injured before decamping with the goods. 

An FIR has been registered in the case and a number of police teams of South East District have been formed to catch hold of the accused.

It’s been more than 24 hours since the robbery took place, but the police are still to find the truck and the robbers.
