Smriti Irani finds camera in changing room

NEW DELHI: Union Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani spotted a hidden camera in the trial room of a famous apparel store, Fabindia in Goa on Friday. 

Soon after the observation, the union minister raised an alarm following which an FIR for ‘outraging the modesty of a woman’ was registered.

Irani called a local legislator, Micheal Lobo of her party, who lodged the FIR or First Information Report

Speaking and confirming the incident to media, BJP MLA Michael Lobo said that he had lodged the FIR on behalf of the HRD minister.  

The hard disks and the camera have been seized by the police, he said. However, there is no confirmation over who has been named in the FIR.

Smriti Irani is currently in Goa with her family for a holiday and was on shopping around the city when she spotted the camera in the famous store. A massive chaos surrounded the store after the incident.
