BHIWANDI: In a shocking & shameful incident, a seven-year-old boy was allegedly sexually assaulted and later set on fire by two men at Padmanagar in Bhiwandi in Maharashtra on Saturday.
The incident occurred when the boy had gone to eat at a langar. He was taken to an unknown place by the accused where he was sexually assaulted and then put on fire. Somehow, the boy managed to escape, said the police, adding the boy has suffered 30 per cent burn injuries and is being treated at the Thane civil hospital.
According to the reports, the accused was known to the boy. A case has been registered against the accused and three people have been arrested in connection with the shameful incident.
