Doctors' strike
New Delhi: In fresh trouble for AAP-led Delhi government, 8000 doctors, nurses and medical staff on Saturday joined the civic workers’ strike over non-payment of salaries.
“The fight between AAP and BJP is affecting us. Nobody is ready to listen to our problems. We are forced to protest as we do not have any other option.” said a protesting worker.
Blaming the AAP for the crisis, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) volunteers today gathered at the Nirman Vihar Metro station to march all the way to Central Secretariat for marking their protest.
“It would be better if AAP spends money on payment of salaries than on its own publicity. It’s unfair that workers who clean the garbage are being treated like this.” said a BJP volunteer.
Meanwhile, Delhi PWD Minister, Satendra Jain has conducted a task force to clean up the garbage as 1.5 lakh MCD workers continued their strike on the fourth day.
