BJP MP's brother attacks school Principal

CHHATTISGARH:  A school principal was allegedly beaten up by the brother of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) parliamentarian in Chhattisgarh. The accused even tried to run over his SUV over the victim on Monday, reports said.

Brother of Ranvijay Singh, a Rajya Sabha member, Vikramaditya Singh Judev is missing since the matter has been reported.

According to the police, Vikramaditya attacked Principal Parmeshwar Gupta over a mere issue of land he had sold him in Jashpur a few years ago.

Singh, according to the reports, went to the spot on Monday where Gupta had started work on a school building and stated that the land belonged to him.

Vikramaditya reportedly asked the Principal to stop the construction work at the site which led to an argument between the two. The police say that the Principal was then thrashed by Vikramaditya who later drove his SUV over him, leaving him critically injured.

A case of ‘attempted murder’ has been registered against Vikramaditya by the police and the victim is being treated at a hospital in Ranchi.

The incident invited a massive anger amongst the local people who gathered outside the place belonging to the Judeos, former royals of Jashpur, and protested.
