Delhi Road Rage Case: Two more arrested in Turkman Gate incident

NEW DELHI: Two more persons have been arrested in connection with the road rage incident in Central Delhi's Turkman Gate where a 37-year-old man was beaten to death on Sunday night.

According to police, the accused persons have been identified as Shahdab and Atif. Shahdab's father Ameen Pahelwan who is also an accused in the case is still absconding.

With this, the total number of arrests in the case has now reached to three. All the arrested persons are locals of Turkman Gate area.

On Sunday night, Shehnewaz (37) was beaten to death allegedly by five people including the three people who have been arrested.

In a related development, the family members of Shehnewaz, on Tuesday, wrote a letter to the Delhi Police Commissioner requesting him to take action against the policemen who did not come forward for help at the time of the incident.
