Man accused in Delhi road rage death arrested

NEW DELHI: Delhi Police on Wednesday arrested the key accused Aminuddin alias Amin Pahalwan (46) in the Delhi road rage case.

Aminuddin with 17 criminal cases against him has a history-sheeter, police informed.

38-year-old Mohammad Shahnawaz travelling on bike was beaten to death by the occupants of a Hyundai i20 car after their vehicle collided with the former’s bike at the Turkman Road area of central Delhi, late on Sunday.

Shehnawaz was on his way back home with his two sons, Kaif (11) and Fahad (13), from his parents’ house when his bike collided with the car, being driven by a local property dealer, Wasim, around 11.30 PM.

Following the ‘minor’ collision, a heated argument started which turned violent as Wasim and his friends started assaulting Shahnawaz.
