Delhi Road Rage Death: BJP protests outside Arvind Kejriwal’s residence

NEW DELHI: As they staged protest outside Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s house over the Delhi road rage death case, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers on Thursday clashed with the police.

According to the claims made by Satish Upadhyay of BJP, the key accused in the case were known to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chief. 

Accusing the state environment minister Asim Ahmad Khan of demeaning the accused, the BJP has sought resignation from the Delhi CM. (Also Read: Man accused in Delhi road rage death arrested)

The Delhi BJP Chief has slammed the Kejriwal government for passing on the blame to the Delhi Police and Centre. “Delhi Police has already done their job and have arrested the five accused in the case,” he said.

38-year-old Mohammad Shahnawaz travelling with his two kids on bike was beaten to death by the occupants of a Hyundai i20 car after their vehicle collided with the former’s bike at the Turkman Road area of central Delhi, late on Sunday. Following the ‘minor’ collision, a heated argument started which turned violent as Wasim and his friends started assaulting Shahnawaz.
