Yogendra Yadav mocks AAP’s show-cause notice, calls it a ‘joke’

NEW DELHI: The Aam Aadmi Party rebel leader Yogendra Yadav on Saturday mocked the AAP's show-cause notice issued to him on Friday, calling it a joke.

In a Facebook post, Yadav said reacting to the show-cause notice, “That's a joke, I thought. Last evening I had spoken to Mr Waghela, the Chair of Disciplinary Committee. He said he was not in Delhi and had no idea of a possible show-cause notice to us except from TV news! As yet, nothing has been referred to him, he said. He couldn't have dashed down from Goa for Disciplinary Committee Meeting, received the complaint and come to a conclusion within the last 12 hours, I thought.”

A joke----------It is afternoon. TV channels quote a party leader (who is not a member of the Disciplinary Committee)...

“I am told the National Disciplinary Committee has received a complaint against us, reviewed it and found its charges prima facie correct! I have been given till 6 pm on Sunday to respond to this lengthy complaint,” Yadav wrote in his post on Facebook.

While hitting out at the party show-cause notice, Yadav claimed “Sources leaked content of his notice even before he received it and the notice charges him with leaking news!”

The Aam Aadmi Party on Friday slapped show-cause notices to both the rebel leaders Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav for alleged anti-party activities, taking final steps towards their expulsion.
