MUMBAI: In another shocking incident in Mumbai, a five-year-old minor was allegedly raped on Tuesday and was asked to wait for hours as the policemen argued over who should take up the matter.

The little victim was heavily bleeding as she was taken to two different police stations, at Wadala and at Antop Hill and was forced to wait for two hours before she could be admitted to a hospital.

The child went missing on Tuesday after her mother sent her out of home for some work, police said.

The CCTV footage shows a man carrying the girl from outside her residence at Wadala in eastern Mumbai and was allegedly raped at Antop Hill.

She was then found crying by the locals at 11 PM. At first, the police took her to the Antop Hill police station, but was later taken to Wadala. It was already 1:30 AM by the time she reached the hospital.

In spite of senior police officers admitting to keep the girl waiting for so long, no action has been taken against them.
