PUNJAB: After the horrendous molestation-death case where the girl succumbed to injuries after being thrown off the moving bus, another shocking incident has been reported in Moga.
A woman was allegedly gang-raped by a group of 10 men, including the husband of her friend, in Punjab’s famous town after she left to meet somebody on Thursday.
The woman alleged that a friend’s husband and some other men took her to an isolated room in a village fields and raped her. “One of my friends husband called other men who raped me taking turns,” she reportedly told the police.
The medical examination has confirmed that the girl has been raped, following which the police have filed a case against her friend and her husband and 10 others but no arrests have been made so far.
The incident came to light after 14-year-old and her mother were molested and thrown off a moving bus, owned by Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal’s family on Wednesday.
