UTTAR PRADESH: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Sakshi Maharaj, known for his controversial remarks, has sparked another row, calling Congress Vice-President Rahula Gandhi ‘Mad’. 

Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi, Sakshi Maharaj said, “He does not know the difference between wheat and maize crops.”

Meanwhile, BJP MP also compared Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Lord Krishna, saying like Krishna saved Draupadi , PM Modi came to rescue earthquake-hit Nepal. 

While addressing a meeting at Amroli Ratanpur village in Uttar Pradesh, BJP MP said, “Rahul Gandhi has gone mad and he does not the ABCD of politics. He is not even aware of the difference between wheat and maize crops and is talking about farmers.”

Calling the Uttar Pradesh government ‘Goondaraj’, Sakshi Maharaj said, “The state government failed to pay attention to the farmers. Funds were allocated by the Central government to the distressed farmers but did not reach them.”

Praising PM Modi for the development of India, BJP MP said, “Our borders are secure and country is safe under the Modi government. People will soon realise that we are progressing in each and every field.”
