NEW DELHI: Trouble continues for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as senior party leader Kumar Vishwas has been accused of having an illicit relationship with a female party member in the run-up to the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections.
Delhi Commission of Women (DCW) summoned him over a complaint of the woman and asked him to appear before it on Tuesday.
The woman alleged that Vishwas’ wife has been spreading slanderous rumours against her which has led to her separation with husband who has thrown her out of the house.
According to an official, “The female volunteer had worked for a year in Amethi for the party and had alleged molestation by Kumar Vishwas during campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections in the region.”
Kumar Vishwas has not received any summon or notice in connection to the case from the DCW or any other commission, said sources from Vishwas camp.
