HYDERABAD: In a tragic incident, a 17-year-old died during a wrestling match organised by a group of local boys in Hyderabad.

The incident occurred in Panjesha in the old city of Hyderabad on May 3 in which the teenager died on the spot after the fight where nearly 15 youngsters were reportedly present but it came in news when the boy’s father insisted to investigate the matter.

The boy’s father, who works in Dubai, rushed to Hyderabad when he came to know about the incident. However, the teenager’s father filed a complaint and a case of suspicious death was registered.

After police interrogation, one of the boys narrated the whole incident on Friday, following which the police arrested him and two other boys.

The boys then told police that they regularly organize such fights in which two people face-off against each other in an open space.

The police also found the video which shows a 12th standard student Nabeel collapsed during the fight. The boys took him to the hospital but he died on the way. The teenager group then informed the boy’s family and told that he died in road accident.

Meanwhile, the victim’s family have demanded strict action to those who involved in the killing of their son.
