SRINAGAR: Violent clashes between the police personnel and some miscreants broke out in Srinagar following the Friday payers today.

As the protest turned violent, the police had to resort to tear gas shelling.

According to the reports, the miscreants, some of whom were wearing black masks started protesting on the streets to which the police had to intervene.

The clashes broke out soon after police intercepted the protest and the troublemakers started pelting stones at them.
