NEW DELHI: After the shocking defeat of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the recently concluded Delhi Assembly Elections, the ideological mentor of the party, Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) is holding a meeting in Delhi to list out possible reasons for the big loss.

The poll committee of RSS-BJP is also scheduled to meet on February 15 to study the results of the Delhi Elections 2015.

BJP was nearly smashed out of the elections with only three seats in the 70-member assembly in Delhi. With Congress being embarrassed with winning no seats, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led by Arvind Kejriwal won all the remaining 67 seats.

To save the BJP from Congress like humiliation, three leaders including Jagdish PradhanOm Prakash Sharma andVijender Gupta were the only BJP candidates who survived the AAP Tsunami and managed to win in their respective constituencies.

Accepting the defeat as a ‘setback’, BJP dismissed the suggestions that it was against the performance of the Modi government.
