New Delhi: On every special occasion the giant Internet search engine Google dedicates its doodle to the occasion. The same thing happened on Tuesday. When the whole country is waiting for the much-anticipated ICC World T20 match to begin today, Google in its own way has marked the day for the fans.
It has dedicated its doodle to the cricket match that will get underway at the Nagpur stadium on Tuesday between hosts India and New Zealand.
The Google doodle shows two cricket bats, coloured in India and New Zealand team jerseys Google banner. The colourful doodle reflects India’s great interest in the sport and the 20-overs tournament matches.
This will be the first match for both the team in this year’s World T20 tournament. 10 teams have qualified for the main set in the 20-overs format World Cup.
The ICC World T20 is hosted for the first time in India and it is the sixth edition of the tournament. The first World Cup title was won by India which was held in the year 2007.
There is a lot of expectation from the Indian team, if they win the tournament it will be a second World T20 win for the Indian team.
