New Delhi: Tinder has launched a new feature in India—Tinder Social and this new feature will enable users to create new groups and meet new people to expand their social circles.
According to Tinder India head Taru Kapoor, the new feature will help people to make friends and plan activities, and offer users more ways to expand their social circle.
Tinder Social will also be available in US, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
Using Tinder Social, users can plan activities together, make new friends and chat with old friends.
“Tinder Social is designed to make it as easy as possible to plan your night, get out into the real world and meet new people. The new feature takes the Tinder experience to a new level, offering our users more ways to expand their social circles and interact with potential matches,” said Sean Rad, CEO and co-founder of Tinder.
“We believe it’s the ultimate tool for planning your next adventure.”
With this new app, people can form groups and once it is formed, a status can be given to the group like “Party with us,” “Girl’s night out,” “We are going out.”
After updating the app, Tinder users can unlock Tinder Social to gain access to the feature. After making gropus, if a member swipes right, it’s a match. The group members then can chat with each other and plan some activities.
Swiping left will be like a no to a group request.
