New Delhi: After successfully making a mark in the phone market, Chinese technology company LeEco has now launched its Super3 TV series in India.
LeEco TV series uses the ability to stream shows, movies, concerts and matches through one platform. The TV also has an interactive desktop and a super remote that can be voice controlled.
The new TV series from LeEco could pose a serious competition not only for other players in the television market but also for streaming applications like Netflix and Hotstar. LeEco attempts to be single platform for a TV product that has inbuilt live streaming.
LeEco new Super3 TV series includes models like Super3 Max65, Super3 X65 and Super3 X55 televisions. All models will support 4K video and will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with LeEco’s eUI 5.5 interface.
In terms of pricing, the Max65 model will cost around Rs 1,49,790, the X65 at Rs 99,790 and the X55 at Rs 59,790.
Speaking to NewsX, Smart Electronic Business and LeEco India COO, Atul Jain said that the TV series has got technology and good comprehensive eco system.
“We are in India now for 6 months. We have sold 700,000 Superphones mainly through the online channel. We just introduced an offline option a month back. The initial response is overwhelming. Consumer and users from all over the country are asking to bring out more and more products,” Jain added.
