New Delhi: We have some good news for Twitter users. Now, you can add photos , videos, GIFs and polls and these will no longer count towards the 140-character limit.

“Say more about what’s happening! Rolling out now: photos, videos, GIFs, polls, and ‘Quote Tweets’ no longer count toward your 140 characters,” Twitter said in a post on Tuesday.

The micro-blogging site is also testing an option in which a user’s handle will be omitted from the count while replying to a tweet.

The 140-character limit of Twitter has become a part of the product’s personality and company has no immediate plans to chenge it just yet.
