New Delhi: The news of bursting of Samsung phones is old now as tech giant Apple has also joined the league. Recently, an Australian surfer complained that his iPhone 7 exploded, destroying his car. Luckily, he was out in the water when the incident happened.
The surfer, Mat Jones has also released a video for the same.
Jones told media that he had left his iPhone 7 wrapped in his pants inside the car, while he went out in the water to give a lesson and when he came back, he saw his car damaged due to the fire caused by the exploding of his iPhone 7.
“As I looked into my car you could not see inside the car. All the windows were just black. Ash was coming from inside the pants. Once I checked, the phone was just melting inside of it,” he said.
Reportedly, Apple had launched an investigation into the matter.
Last month, another person had complained that his iPhone 7 burst in his back pocket when he fell down from his mountain bike.
