After re-entering the smartphone market and bringing four new smartphones powered with Android, Nokia may soon unveil another feature packed phone that will be called Nokia 9. The Finnish company which is now being managed by HMD Global had recently launched its first ever Android flagship Nokia 8 with standout video streaming and camera features.
With Samsung, iPhone, Xiaomi entering the space of full screen, edge to edge, bezel less display, reports and leaks on social media suggest that Nokia 9 will also carry that the legacy and will come out with edge to edge 3D glass display and virtually bezel-less design.
Going by the design leaks, upcoming flagship Nokia 9 will not be having any capacitive touch button on the display, which was there in Nokia 8 and will only have virtual navigation buttons.
The new feature packed and expected to be a solid competitor in the Android smartphone marker may come up with 8GB-6GB of RAM, Iris scanner, Fingerprint scanner on the rear, 128GB ROM, Dual Camera, and other amazing features.
With being an expected flagship, Nokia 9 may cost around EUR 749 (Rs 60,000 approx). However, no expected date of the launch has been revealed yet.
Apart from unveiling Nokia 9, the company plans to also introduce another smartphone in entry level segment Nokia 2. The phone may pack a 5-inch display, 1080X720 pixels, Snapdragon 212 processor and 1 GB of RAM, 8 MP Rear Camera and 5 MP selfie shooter. Nokia 2 may support dual SIM feature also.
Earlier in August, the smartphone maker launched its Nokia 8 with unique and productive features for Live video streaming.
The company with Nokia 8 had brought simultaneous LIVE streaming video on Facebook and YouTube using its dual camera Zeiss optics setup. This feature which the company called ‘Bothie’ is not available in any other phone currently existing in the market.
Technology giant Apple also on September 12 unveiled three new iPhone versions — iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus. The new phones came with updated fast processor, iOS 11 and other feature. iPhone X, which is priced at around $999, features a full end-to-end display and uses face as login id.
