Speak Out India: 'Acche din' for middle class?

It’s a big boost for India's Aviation sector as the much-awaited national civil aviation policy has finally been cleared by the Union Cabinet.
India's first ever integrated National Civil Aviation policy seeks to boost regional connectivity by capping the airfare of one-hour long regional flights to Rs 2,500.
Restricting the amount of cancellation fees and reducing cost of excess baggage are among the other passenger-friendly measures.
The NDA government had for the first time unveiled the policy draft in November 2014, subsequently replacing it with another draft in October 2015.
