NEW DELHI: The shooting ace of India and, Olympic Champion, Abhinav Bindra secured Gold Medal in the 10 metre air rifle event at the Asian Air Gun Championship on Sunday, held in New Delhi.
The event was held at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range with Bindra, shooting a total of 208.3 in the final of the 10 metre air rifle event.
Chain Singh and London Olympics bronze medallist, Gagan Narang, finished sixth and fourth respectively in the event.
All three have already secured their quota places for the Rio Olympics 2016.
The last being the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games, this is an international shooting competition being held in India after five years.
