Haldwani: Former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) wrestler, The Great Khali, was injured while participating in a sporting event at Haldwani, Uttarakhand on Wednesday.
Dalip Singh Rana, better known by his WWE stage name, The Great Khali, was participating in ‘The Great Khali Wrestling Show’ which was taking place at Indira Gandhi International Cricket Stadium when he sustained some serious injuries.
The WWE star has starred in several Hollywood and Bollywood films and had been with WWE for 14 years before he left the company to return to India. Since then, he has started his own wrestling school in Punjab called Continental Wrestling Entertainment.

The 44-year-old wrestling star was up against three foreign wrestlers when he got hit with chairs. The details of the injuries are not yet known, but he has suffered head and back injuries and has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Brijlal Hospital.
