Women's World Cup T20: Rain halts play

Delhi: Pakistan beat India by 2 runs under the Duckworth–Lewis (D/L) method when the rain affected the contentious match at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in New Delhi. 
Pakistan needed 20 runs off of 24 balls with 4 wickets in hand when rains halted play. Pakistan were 2 runs ahead of the D/L par score. Nida Dar (0) and Muneeba Ali (12) were the 2 not-out batters on the crease for Pakistan. 
Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first restricting India to 96/7 in 20 overs.  Pakistan bowlers dominated the match throught out. India were able to score only 27 runs in the first 10 overs after losing 2 early wickets. V Krishnamurthy (24) was the highest scorer in Indian innings.
