Bengaluru: Bollywood and cricket have always been closely tied with each other in some or the other way. Bollywood has many avid cricket lovers and Shah Rukh ‘King of Bollywood’ Khan is one of them.
Owner of an Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Kolkata Knight Riders, Shah Rukh Khan is cricket ‘fan’ and he is going to prove the same on Wednesday by turning a commentator for India vs Bangladesh T20 World Cup match to be held at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore from 7.30 pm onwards.
Known for his film promotional techniques, Khan will be seen serving a double purpose by doing commentary. He will be promoting his upcoming movie ‘Fan’ and will be serving as a booster for the Indian team by his presence in the commentary box.
He will be accompanying Pakistan’s ‘Rawalpindi Express’ Shoaib Akhtar and India’s cricket legend Kapil Dev during the first half hour of the match.
Fans look forward to Khan’s commentary as he is known for his wit and fantastic sense of humour.
