Saina Nehwal loses to Tai Tzu Ying in Malaysia Open 2016 semi-finals

Saina Nehwal ranks No. 8 in world rankings

New Delhi: The black tradition of losing in semi-finals continues for Saina Nehwal as she saw another defeat against Chinese Taipei’s Tai Tzu Ying. Malaysia Open is Saina’s third consecutive defeat in the semi-finals after Swiss Open Grand Prix Gold and the India Super Series. 
Out of 12 times, Saina has lost to Tai Tzu Ying seven times whereas this time going down to 19-21, 13-21. 
Tai Tzu Ying has always turned out to be a tought competitor for Saina Nehwal. Saina lost to her in the quarter finals of the All England Open 2016 and also at the BWF World Superseries Finals in Dubai. 
Recently, after losing in the semi-finals of India Open, failing to defend her title, Sania sank two positions down coming to No. 8 in world rankings. 
However, there is still ray of hope for Sania Nehwal. Sania still has a chance to break this jinx of semi-finals in the upcoming Singapore Open starting from April 12 in Singapore.
