London: Currently out of job and former Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho has confirmed that he will be returning to English Premier League (EPL) this summer. He expressed he is keen to be back to football in time for the start of next season, with a preference to work in England again. He made it clear he would prefer another club in the country where his family is settled.

When asked about the rumours surrounding his contract with Manchester United, Mourinho clearly said that he had not signed any contract with team.

The 53-year-old Portuguese was sacked by Chelsea in December last year after the Premier League champions started the season with nine defeats in their first 16 matches, and were reeling at the 14th spot at one stage.

Mourinho began working with van Gaal at Barcelona FC in 1996 and he learned much from the Dutchman’s conscientious style.

In September 2000, Mourinho moved up from his role as an assistant manager at Lisbon side Benfica to replace manager Jupp Heynckes after the fourth week of the Primeira Liga.
