Raina lauds bowlers after team IPL debut win

Mohali: Gujarat Lions in its first match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 9 thrashed Kings XI Punjab by 5 wickets.
The Gujarat Lions captain, Suresh Raina, however, gave credit to the bowlers for a stupendous performance and restricting the KXIP to a decent 161 in their allotted 20 overs. At one time, it seemed like the Punjab team would easily surpass the 189-190 mark, which would have been a tough hill to climb.
Dwayne Bravo and Ravindra Jadeja scaled four and two wickets respectively to keep the Lions in the hunt. The West Indian, in particular, gave away just 22 runs in his quota of four overs.

Dwayne Bravo stumped 4 wickets which restricted the score of Kings XI Punjab to 161. In the batting response Gujarat Lions chases the score when 14 balls and 5 wickets were still in their kitty.
Aaron Finch won Man of the match for scoring 74 runs off 47 balls.
