Mumbai: Actor Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan has hit back at all the critics as he tweeted in support of his son being chosen as Goodwill Ambassador for Rio Olympics 2016.

In a series of tweets, Salim defended his stand.

“WINDING UP. Salman has been in controversy for the last 25 years regularly. Not a single time i supported him. I was known as a fair person. Now first time i support him on my belief that what he is doing is right. Instead and alcohol or tobacco he is promoting sports” tweeted Salim Khan.

He further went on to slam all those who have been demanding an apology.

“and i am called unfair, arrogant and asked to apologise. Oh lord forgive them for they know not what they do – Jesus,” he wrote.

This is the second time Salim Khan has came to the defence of his son against all the detractors who have been criticising both.
