Mohali: Chasing a total of 182 runs, Delhi put up a good start and didn’t lose out early wickets. However, Samson and Kock really took on Punjab bowlers and hit some great shots. At one point of time, both de Kock and Samson gave Punjab the feeling of losing the match. But some great peace of bowling by Kings in the end made the game for Punjab and they finally registered a 9 runs win against Delhi.

Earlier in the evening, Stoinis 52 off 44 balls, Saha 52 off 33 balls and Maxwell’s support to Saha, helped Punjab to put a challeging total of 182 runs. Kings XI Punjab, who is still struggling to get its form back, will be pleased after today’s win against Daredevils.

On the flip side, performing quite well so far in the tournament, it’s Delhi second consecutive defeat after they lost out to Rising Pune Supergiants in their previous game. Daredevils which is currently standing at number 3 spot in the tournament has to make sure that it doesn’t lose the grip.
