Rio de Janeiro: Midfielder Eduardo Sasha scored either side of halftime to fire 10-man Internacional to a 2-1 away victory over Sao Paulo in Brazil’s Serie A football championship.

The 24-year-old opened the scoring in the 37th minute, but the visitors were reduced to 10 men when Alex Meschini was shown a red card for a bad foul on Sunday, reports Xinhua.

Former Uruguay captain Diego Lugano headed in an equaliser before Sasha’s 89th-minute strike regained the lead for Sao Paulo.
