BCCI announces the name of six new Test venues for 2016-17 season

New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday announced that the Australian cricket team was going to tour India in February 2017 to play four Test matches hosted by Bengaluru, Dharamsala, Ranchi and Pune. 
The BCCI proclaimed that Rajkot, Vizag, Pune, Dharamsala, Ranchi and Indore will be hosting Test matches for the first time in forthcoming season. Apart from the series with Australia, these new Test venues will host countries like New Zealand, England and Bangladesh. 
The BCCI has made this announcement after its Tour Programme and Fixtures Committee met in Mumbai on Thursday.
