New Delhi: In the opener against Zimbabwe at Harare, the Indian bowlers did a brilliant job and kept taking wickets at regular intervals to bowl out the hosts for 168 in 49.4 overs.
The medium pace trio of Jasprit Bumrah (4-28), Dhawal Kulkarni (2-42) and Barinder Sran (2-42) made it look easy and bowled accurately.
For the hosts, Elton Chigumbura was the most successful batsman, scoring 41 followed by Sikandar Raza who contributed 23 runs.
Now it’s on the batting attack of the Men in blue to make this effort turn into a win and begin the series on a positive note.
