New Delhi: After being overlooked by the cricket advisory board over Team India’s coaching role, Ravi Shastri hit back at the panel on Saturday, alleging that Sourav Ganguly was not present in the room when the former all-rounder was being interviewed.
“Ganguly wasn’t there when I was interviewed,” Ravi Shastri said.
Shastri said that only VVS Laxman, Sachin Tendulkar and Ajay Jadega were present when he was being interviewed.
He said Sourav Ganguly was not present at the venue and was busy somewhere attending a meeting of CAB.
“When Kumble was giving his presentation in front of the jury, all four members were present. But when I gave my presentation, only three members were present,” Shastri added.
