New Delhi: Former India cricketer and Director of Indian cricket team Ravi Shastri has resigned from the post of media representative of the ICC cricket committee headed by Anil Kumble, following a fall out from the job of Indian coach.

Ravi Shastri who was in the news recently for being rejected for the coach position of the Indian cricket team and for a verbal battle that he had with the Former Indian cricket team Captain Sourav Ganguly, one of the members of the interviewing panel of the coach selection committee. Shaz was disappointed after not being selected for the main job and had blamed Sourav Ganguly for being biased in the selection process.

The resignation is another big step by Shastri after the fallout and probably this can be seen as a message to the BCCI and the Indian Team. This decision of the former Director of the Indian cricket team has come right after his rejection for the Indian cricket team head coach job.
