New Delhi: In what is being called as one of the biggest upsets in the Wimbledon history, the Canadian tennis star Milos Raonic has defeated the seven times Wimbledon champion Roger Federer.
Milos Raonic created Canadian history at Wimbledon beating the Swiss tennis ace 6-3, 6-7, 4-6, 7-5, 6-3. Raonic Became the first ever Canadian player to reach a Grand Slam singles final.
It was not easy for the Canadian but he ensured that he played brilliantly and kept his nerves against Federer who is considered as one of the all time greats of the game. Milos Raonic probably won the biggest match of his career advancing into the finals of Wimbledon.
This victory of Raonic will initiate one of the biggest transformations in Canadian tennis. Milos Raonic may have outclassed one of the best but the former still remains one of the crowd favourites as he departs from Wimbledon 2016.
