Delighted Williams sisters celebrate after clinching their 14th Grand Slam at the Centre Court

London: The Williams sisters on Saturday beat Timea Babos of Hungary and Yaroslava Shvedova of Kazakhstan 6-3, 6-4 in the Wimbledon women's doubles final to clinch their 14th Grand Slam together.
It was double delight for Serena as earlier she had thrashed Angelique Kerber to win her 22nd Grand Slam and equal Steffi Graff's record.
“I never wanted to make a mistake. I did not want to let Serena down. She brought the energy from the singles on to the doubles court”, a delighted Venus said after winning the match.
The sisters will now be eyeing a medal in the upcoming Rio Olympics.
