Mumbai: India’s one-time premier spinner Harbhajan Singh was on Wednesday recalled to the national Test squad after a gap of two years for the lone Test against Bangladesh next month.
Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) All-India Senior Selection Committee met at the Cricket Centre here to pick the Indian teams for the Test and the three-match One-Day International (ODI) series against Bangladesh, to be played from June 10 to 24.
Offie Harbhajan last played a Test for India in March 2013 against Australia.
Belying speculations, the Sandeep Patil-led committee selected a full-strength complement with skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni leading the ODI side and Virat Kohli captaining the Test squad.
This will be India’s first international series after the World Cup.
