'The Great India Run' completes Day 13, NewsX-Pro Sportify, The Great India Run, Jambuva, Bharuch, marathoners, Day 13, completed 1000 kms

New Delhi: The second leg of NewsX-Pro Sportify 'The Great India Run' kicked off in Ahmedabad and now the marathoners have completed 1000 kms of the run. The marathoner started the 13th day from Jambuva at 6 am in the morning and reached Bharuch by the end of the day thereby completing 1000 kms of the long journey.
Star runner Milind Soman kept his focus on the run despite being the huge attraction for the crowd.
"The marathoner must be feeling very happy as they have completed 1000 kms of the run and now just 480 kms is left, it is a commendable task. Physically everyone must be very tired now it is the mental toughness that is keeping them going" said, Sunita Godara,
former Indian marathoner.
Anuja Jung, India Shooter said, "I cannot imagine running so much for so many days. Running from Delhi to Mumbai is a great idea just to promote the culture of running and for Indian Olympics contingent it is a marvellous initiative."
NewsX-Pro Sportify ‘The Great India Run’ is a cross-country run which is witnessing 18 Indian and many international runners participating in a bid to create a new record for the fastest time, covering a distance of 1,480 kms in 21 days.
