India is set to clash with reigning Olympic Champions Germany on Monday

Rio de Janeiro: On a high after winning the opening match, India is set to clash with reigning Olympic Champions Germany on Monday.
India started their campaign on a bright note by beating Ireland 3-2 in first match. However, they were clear favourites in the game and will have to up the ante against Germany. Indian defence looked particularly shabby in the first match and its sharp performance will be crucial if India have to register another victory at the Rio Games.
Meanwhile, Germany would be looking to take another step towards hat-trick having won the gold medal at both Beijing and London Olympics. However, India will be eyeing at ending the 20-year wait for victory against Germany in Olympics. India had last beaten Germany way back in 1996 Atlanta Games.
