The 33-year-old athlete had collapsed after finishing the 42km (26 miles) race in recently-concluded Rio Olympics. She had sparked a row after the incident alleging that she was not provided with water and refreshments at regular intervals.
Jaisha had visited Rajiv Gandhi institute on Wednesday complaining of body pain where her test reports were found to be positive for H1N1 virus.
Earlier another Indian athlete, Sudha Singh had also tested positive for the H1N1 virus and has been undergoing treatment for the same.
